Fire & EMS

Serving Almira Township and the Village of Lake Ann since 1951, ATFEMS is a combination fire department and basic life support ambulance service. Coverage is provided 24/7 by paid-on-call staff, and is also staffed 7 days a week from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM by a two person duty crew who are trained as both Firefighters and EMTs. During these hours the station is open to residents or visitors to come and check out the station, or you can also get your blood pressure and glucose checked free of charge. It is a good idea to call first to make sure the duty crew is not out on an emergency call. The station number is 231-275-5863.
